Children's Errors in Maths: Understanding Common Misconceptions in Primary Schools

The book was shipped in a timely manner in great condition. It was helpful to me in studying for National Board Certification. The book is not based on National Standards from the US. In that respect it is a little confusing.

Starting Place

I needed some practice analyzing a variety of math problems/misconceptions/difficulties and this book provided several examples. It also provided brief explanations of what mistake the student had made and reasons why this might happen. Each error addressed was handled very briefly. It has served as a tool in an arsenal to help me interpret areas that students struggle in math. One thing that took alot of space in the book and wasn't helpful to me was the United Kingdoms curriculum links for each error.
